• Never dry-fire your bow (releasing the string from full draw without an arrow)
• Do not leave your bow strung in the heat
• Do not store your bow standing upright
• Do not shoot improperly arrow spines with your bow
• Only shoot feather fletchings off the shelf of your bow
• Avoid exposing your bow to moisture for extended periods of time
• Shoot your bow at least semi-frequently if regularly stored strung
• Take extreme caution to avoid twisting your limbs during the stringing/unstringing process
• Purchase a case to protect your bow from the many hazards of hunting
• Send your bow in to be refinished when the scratches start to add up
